SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) - A helicopter crash on an oil rig
off Santa Barbara has injured four people.
Jeffrey Attebery, the president of the Arctic Air Service charter company, says one of his choppers was landing at about 12:45 p.m. Friday when its tail hit a derrick and the aircraft ended up on its side.
Attebery says there were 10 people on board, including two pilots. He says four were hurt but none of the injuries were serious.
However, the Sikorsky copter was heavily damaged.
