OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - A 2-year-old boy has been critically injured in East Oakland.
Police say the boy was hit in the upper boy, possibly by a stray bullet, from a shooting that took place a short distance away.
The boy was injured at about 1 p.m. Friday on the 9200 block of Sunnyside Street when a shooting occurred nearby, at the corner of 94th Avenue and Sunnyside Street.
Police told The Oakland Tribune (http://bit.ly/19YXIq2) that he was listed in critical condition at a nearby hospital.
No arrests have been reported. The street was blocked off while police investigated.
