LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities are aiming to dole out a $1 million reward offered in the hunt for rogue ex-cop Christopher Dorner by mid-April.

Los Angeles police Deputy Chief Kirk Albanese said Thursday law enforcement officers from all agencies involved in the nearly weeklong manhunt will get together to read reports, listen to tapes and come to a consensus by mid-April.

Multiple parties have come forward to claim they provided the key tip that ultimately led Dorner to hole up in a vacant mountain cabin where he apparently took his own life after a shootout with law enforcement officers. Authorities say Dorner killed four people, including two police officers.

It is unclear if an additional $200,000 offered by the Los Angeles City Council and County Board of Supervisors would also be decided on.
