FREMONT, Calif. (AP) - Fremont police are investigating a bloody
fight at a wedding reception that left six men injured.
Authorities say the melee started when six to eight men crashed the party Saturday night at Niles Banquet Hall. When they were asked to leave, a fight broke out, leaving five men stabbed and a sixth beaten.
All were taken to the hospital, and police have not released their conditions.
The venue is the same place where a 35-year-old man was fatally shot by party crashers during a wedding reception in February. Police say the shooting that killed Francisco Sanchez was believed to be gang-related.
