Train Collides With Disabled Car On Tracks In Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A commuter train has collided with an unoccupied car that apparently stalled on the rail tracks, but no
one was injured.

Metrolink spokeswoman Denise Tyrrell says the driver was able to
escape as the Lancaster-bound train approached a crossing in clear
weather about 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

The train was delayed.

The accident happened in the Sylmar neighborhood on the city's
northern edge.
