EL SEGUNDO, Calif. - Two police officers are in stable condition after a shootout at an El Segundo movie theater that killed the gunman.
Police say one officer was shot in the jaw and another in the shoulder. Lt. Raymond Garcia and Officer Scott O'Connor each are expected to make a full recovery.
The officers were called to the Pacific Beach Cities Stadium 16 theater around 10 last night by an employee.
A man had gotten into what's being termed a "business dispute" with theater workers.
The officers were searching the man in the lobby when he pulled a gun and began firing.
Authorities say the wounded officers fired back, killing the gunman.
