RICHMOND, Calif. (AP) - One man was killed and four others injured in a shooting outside a church that was hosting a food service program for the homeless.
Richmond Police spokesman Lt. Mark Gagan says a drive-by shooting occurred Sunday morning outside Church of the Living God as a group of volunteers were bringing people off of the street to feed them.
Police say the shots were fired from a red pickup truck and that they don't believe the homeless people and church volunteers were the intended targets.
The slain man, who was homeless, has not been identified. Gagan
said three others are seriously injured and one is in critical condition.
