Coast Guard Searches For Sailors Missing After Golden Gate Race

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - One of two sailors who never returned from
a sailing race just beyond the Golden Gate Bridge has been found
dead near Moss Beach in San Mateo County.

The San Mateo County Sheriff's found the body of 67-year-old Anthony Harrow today. The second man, whose has not been identified, is still missing.

Coast Guard Lt. Junior Grade Lauren Kolumbic says the 32-foot sailboat "Daisy" was last seen around 1 p.m. Saturday about six miles west of the Golden Gate heading toward the bridge.

The daylong race to a buoy about 14 miles west of the bridge and back was scheduled to end around 4 p.m.
