Two Hikers Stranded in Orange County

Two hikers are stranded on a steep cliff in Orange County after they became lost in stormy weather.

Authorities say they have be in contact with the hikers via cell phone on Sunday, but have been unable to reach them because of bad weather.

The hikers called late Saturday and said they were lost in the rugged section of Cleveland National Forest, about 13 miles east of San Juan Capistrano.

Authorities hope to enlist the help of a Coast Guard helicopter in the rescue effort.
