Student Wounded at Oxnard Junior High School Shooting

OXNARD, Calif. (AP) - Police say a 15-year-old student has been shot and wounded at an Oxnard junior high school and another student is in custody.

Oxnard police spokesman David Keith says the boy was shot around
8:30 a.m. Tuesday in a classroom at E.O. Green Junior High School.

Keith says the victim was taken to Saint John's Regional Medical Center in critical condition, but that hospital officials report his condition is improving.

Keith says the shooting involved a personal dispute.
