Woman Run Over After Fight With Boyfriend

Authorities say a 25-year-old woman is in critical condition after her boyfriend ran over her head as he drove away following a fight between the two.

Kern County Sheriff's Lieutenant Dennis Smithson said Rosalinda
Camacho and Christopher Cribb were driving home from Los Angeles
early Saturday morning when they started arguing. That escalated
into slapping and Cribb pulled over on Highway 99 in Kern County.

Smithson said Cribb tore Camacho out of the car and threw her on the ground. As Cribb tried to drive away, Camacho ran alongside and
banged on the window. She fell and the vehicle's rear tire ran over
her head.

Cribb saw Camacho laying in the road, pulled over and called 911.

Smithson said detectives are investigating and might file charges against 21-year-old Cribb.
