Toxicology results show a Hermosa Beach 8-year-old wasn't drugged before she was drowned by her mother in the surf near San Simeon last month.
Marcia Harrigan also drowned in the murder suicide.
San Luis Obispo County coroner officials say there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol in the body of little Gillian Goldman.
Her 43-year-old mother had a blood alcohol level of 0.03, well below the 0.08 threshold to be considered a drunken driver.
Sheriff's detectives have ruled the Jan. 10 deaths a murder-suicide. Physical markings on the girl's body indicate there was a struggle as her mother held her underwater.
The girl was at the center of a long and heated custody battle between her parents.
