VICTORVILLE, Calif. (AP) - San Bernardino County fire authorities say a school bus carrying 40 children was toppled in an accident that has injured 13 children and the bus driver.
Spokeswoman Tracey Martinez says two of the children have "serious but non-life threatening" injuries and were taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center after Thursday's accident.
All the other injured were transported to local hospitals.
The accident happened after a U-Haul truck collided with the school bus, leaving it on its side.
The children were being taken home from Galileo Academy in Victorville when the collision happened and was reported at 2:06 p.m.
Two people in the U-Haul truck were uninjured.
An investigation is being conducted.
