Forecasters say a series of winter storms are lining up and about to move into Northern California.
The National Weather Service is predicting one more day of sunny weather before the first of three storms hits the region tomorrow afternoon.
A second and very powerful storm is expected to bring heavy rain and strong winds Friday.
Then a third weather system is expected to bring more rain or showers Saturday night into Sunday.
Forecasters say the storms could drop up to four inches of rain could fall along the coast, with up to eight inches of rain in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
In the Sierra, up to ten feet of snow is expected in some of the higher elevations.
