California Marines Get Oklahoma Barbecue for Christmas

More than 70 Marines at Camp Pendleton will have an Oklahoma barbecue spread for their Christmas dinner, paid for by a couple from Tulsa.

George and Rachel Gibbs' son is a Marine stationed in Monterey who was at Camp Pendleton last year. The couple says they spent about $4,500 on food and shipping costs for the meal is that they wanted to do something special for Marines at Camp Pendleton who did not go home for Christmas.

The owner of Albert G's barbecue restaurant in Tulsa, Okla., prepared 200 pounds of meat for the meal.
