In a high-tech age, even New Year's resolutions are going online.
At least two major Web sites, nickatnight-dot-com and peoplejam-dot-com, are launching efforts to help people lose weight, eat better or otherwise do in 2008 what they should have been doing in 2007. They're counting on the Internet to also help people stick to those resolutions.
The Nickelodeon cable channel's Kick One Pick One campaign, in which it hopes to get people to resolve a bad habit as well as launch a good one, plans to post resolution contracts for people to sign.
At Peoplejam.com, a networking site that has sometimes been called a Myspace for grown-ups, people are encouraged to post their resolutions for the world to see. The site also says it has links to more than 150 authors, personal trainers, life coaches and others to help people keep their resolutions.
