Search Expands For Missing Northern California Family

Rescue teams from as far away as the San Francisco Bay area are descending on an area near Inskip - more than 100 miles north of Sacramento - to expand the search for a missing Northern California man and his three children.

The family hasn't been seen since they walked into the rugged mountains of Butte County in search of a Christmas tree on Sunday.

Frederick Dominguez and his kids - ages 12, 14 and 18 - set off near Inskip.

His truck was found Monday night parked along a mountain road.

Snow is 1-to-7-feet deep in the search area.

Crews believe they have a window of a few good hours this morning before another storm is expected to hit the area this afternoon.

However, low clouds continue to block aerial search efforts.
