Los Angeles police say they found the body of an elderly woman in a vehicle a day after her son was pulled from the same car that had been involved in a crash.

A follow-up investigation was conducted after family members said there were two relatives missing and not one.
Authorities say the vehicle carrying the woman and her son hit a parked car in a bank parking lot and then crashed into a building.
The man was taken to a hospital but his name and condition have not been made available.
Coroner's officials could not immediately determine at what time the woman died or what caused her death.
