Woman's Body Found Day After Car Crash In LA

Los Angeles police say they found the body of an elderly woman in a vehicle a day after her son was pulled from the same car that had been involved in a crash.

The woman, whose identity hasn't been released, was discovered
yesterday in the front passenger seat at a tow yard in the San
Fernando Valley.

She was found beneath an air bag that had deployed during Saturday's crash.

A follow-up investigation was conducted after family members said there were two relatives missing and not one.

Authorities say the vehicle carrying the woman and her son hit a parked car in a bank parking lot and then crashed into a building.

The man was taken to a hospital but his name and condition have not been made available.

Coroner's officials could not immediately determine at what time the woman died or what caused her death.
