Two Sacramento men are facing life sentences in the 2005 beating death of a popular used-car salesman.
Russell Jones, 45, and Mark Desmond Adcock, 35, were found guilty Thursday by separate juries of murdering Daryl Sussdorf.
Prosecutors say Sussdorf, 65, was hit at least 11 times with hammer as he was closing his office at Nugget Auto Sales. He was found in his office with skull fractures January 21, 2005 and died a few days later.
Prosecutors say the two men were heroin addicts in search of money. They were also convicted of special circumstances of burglary and robbery.
