The court ruled Thursday that Robert Krug committed housing
discrimination. He'll have to pay the fine to the Southern California Housing Rights Center, which sued him in March.
The center says it had people pose as renters with families and
approached the manager of Krug's 28-unit apartment building in
2004. They were told the owner didn't allow children.
Krug's attorney denies his client discriminated. Craig Mordoh says Krug has a non-discrimination policy and that there are children in the building.
