Six teenage boys are in custody in connection with a Halloween night shooting that left a 15-year-old girl dead.
One of the boys, who range in age from 13 to 16, is suspected of being the one who shot Ichinkhorloo "Iko" Bayarsaikhan in the back during an attempted robbery at an Alameda park.
The boys face charges of murder and attempted armed robbery.
Their names are not being released because they are minors.
Investigators say the girl who was killed was hanging out with her friends in the park when a group of young men tried to rob them.
She was hit once in the back when one robber opened fire.
Police are continuing to interview witnesses and looking for evidence from the slaying -- Alameda's first homicide of the year.
