Plans to bring free Wi-Fi Internet access to the city of Napa have crashed.
The city and AT&T announced this week they are ending their partnership to make Napa a cutting-edge Wi-Fi community.
AT&T had planned to invest more than 1 million dollars in equipment and service.
But Napa came up a bit short on its end -- specifically when it came to telephone poles.
They weren't tall enough to properly position the Wi-Fi antennas on.
