Grandmother And Grandson Wounded in Richmond Drive-By Shooting

A grandmother and her grandson walking to a church are the latest people to experience the violence gripping Richmond.

Police say the woman -- described as in her 40s -- and her two-year-old grandson were walking near a group of people Tuesday night when they were hit by gunfire in a drive-by shooting.

The woman was hit in the legs, the child in the foot. Police say their wounds do not appear to life-threatening.

There names have not been released.

Meanwhile, a 22-year-old San Pablo man remained in critical condition Tuesday after surviving a shooting in which he was hit with more than 12 rounds.

Police say the man was shot Monday night after becoming involved
in a disagreement.
