Lawyer For Sacramento Kings Center Says Sex Was Consensual

A lawyer for Sacramento Kings reserve center Justin Williams says the player and his girlfriend had consensual sex with a woman who is accusing him of sexual assault.

Attorney William Portanova says Williams, his girlfriend and the woman were with a group of people who were partying at a Sacramento bar last week. The party moved to another location and then to Williams' home, and at each stop the number of people involved dwindled.

Police got a call from a Sacramento-area hospital on October 12th saying that a woman was claiming she had been sexually assaulted by Williams.

Investigators searched Williams' Sacramento home on Wednesday and removed some items they were evaluating as potential evidence.
