2 Teenage Girls Arrested On Suspicion Of Carjacking, Murder

Authorities say two teenage girls are under arrest on suspicion of murder after the shooting and carjacking of a young Lake Elsinore mother whose 11-month-old child was taken with the car and later found on a nearby doorstep.

Riverside County Sheriffs say Angelina Arias was shot Thursday night after offering the two girls a ride home.

They say Arias was found wounded in the roadway and died at a hospital.

The sheriff's department says the 15-year-old was found driving Arias's car yesterday and she was arrested along with a 17-year-old
companion.

The girls were booked into juvenile hall.

Their identities have not been released because of their age.
