Fresno Seeks To Resurrect Trump's Golf Course Deal

Fresno city officials are seeking to buy the bankrupt Running Horse golf and residential development to sell the project to Donald Trump.

Trump withdrew his 30 million-dollar offer for the 420-acre parcel in July.

Running Horse was designed to hold a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course and 780 upscale homes, but it had run into money problems when the current owner bought the property in March.

Fresno Mayor Alan Autry says he has developed a framework to acquire the property, but did not give details about how they planned to buy it without going through a bidding process.
