Motive Sought In Simi Valley Shooting Rampage

Investigators are still trying to find a motive for yesterday's deadly shooting at a Simi Valley tire shop.

Police say the gunman who shot to death a woman and wounded two
employees did not know the victims.

He then killed himself.

Authorities have identified the gunman as 29-year-old Robert Becerra.

Police say Becerra shot 53-year-old Susan Sutcliffe of Simi Valley as she waited for service outside the Tire Pro shop.

Police say Becerra walked up and shot her in the face with a handgun as she sat reading in a chair in front of the shop.

Becerra also wounded two workers and then shot himself in the head.

Police Sergeant David Livingstone says Becerra's only criminal record was a speeding ticket he got on February 14th.
