Lake County authorities say a body recovered from Clear Lake is believed to be that of a Windsor man missing since he fell into the water while boating with friends.
Sheriff's officials have not positively identified the body, but a spokesman says based on the physical characteristics and the location, authorities believe the body is that of 22-year-old Matt Zanoni.
Authorities say Zanoni was aboard a pontoon boat headed to a wake-boarding competition in Kelseyville Saturday when he fell overboard.
The body was found Thursday afternoon by members of the sheriff's marine patrol.
Earlier in the week divers from at least four counties had participated in the search.
