Police were called in to quell a lunchtime brawl yesterday at Hawthorne High School.
Police say fifty students were throwing soda bottles when police moved in to bring an end to the melee.
It wasn't known what led to the fight, and no students were arrested.
Classes had resumed as scheduled.
Earlier this year, riot police were called to the campus to break up a brawl between Hispanic and Tongan students.
That violence was quelled by officers in riot helmets who used pepper spray and carried shotguns that fire bean bag rounds.
