Fired SoCal Man Arrested After Ex-Boss Is Stabbed

Police say a Murrieta man who had just been fired from his moving company job was arrested on investigation of attempted murder after his former boss was stabbed.

Police say Charles T. Camper's supervisor was trying to get him to fill out paperwork Monday when Camper allegedly stabbed him and fled.

The 43-year-old victim was hospitalized with multiple stab wounds, but is expected to survive.

Officers responding to the report of the attack spotted 44-year-old Camper and his girlfriend in a car and pulled them over.

Police say the girlfriend was apparently unaware of the stabbing.

Camper was booked on one million dollars bail.

He was also arrested on investigation of cruelty to a child because a 4-year-old witnessed the stabbing.
