RENO, Nev. -- McDonald's is getting into the chicken wing business.
According to Bloomberg, the fast food food giant plans to begin rolling out the "Mighty Wings" on Sept. 9 and have them in all U.S. stores by Sept. 24.
You can expect the bone-in chicken wings to stay in stores through November.
"Wings is a major move," says Scott Hume, editor of the BurgerBusiness blog, which broke the news Monday. "It's like the Colonel adding a cheeseburger."
The wings will be flavored with chili pepper and cayenne, according to Bloomberg, and will come with a variety of sauces. Prices start at $2.99 for a pack of three. They will also be sold in packs of five or 10.
These wings were tested in Atlanta last fall and were very popular.
