Holiday Brings Biggest Day for Popular Photo App

UNDATED (CNN) -- Millions of people shared their Thanksgiving meals with friends and family, not just at the dinner table, but online too.

Instagram says it had record usage on Thanksgiving Day. The picture sharing app says more than 10-million photos mentioned Thanksgiving-themed words in their captions.

For several hours, more than 200 photos about Thanksgiving were posted a second.
