HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - A former Pennsylvania legislative aide testifying in a public corruption trial had to give jurors intimate details about his sex life.

The testimony Tuesday from former House Democratic chief of staff Mike Manzo seems tangential to the case, in which a former legislator and three aides are defending themselves against charges of diverting state government money for political gain.

But the private details also are germane: Manzo and his wife have pleaded guilty in the case. Also, Manzo is accused of giving the mistress a state job that involved little work.

Defense attorneys are trying to call Manzo's credibility into question by asking him about the affair.
