RENO, NV - A Sparks woman who police say killed her mother will find out her fate Thursday.
Back in October Catherine Eisley pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in her mother's death.
She didn't ask for a plea deal.
Eisley faces life in prison without the possibility of parole. It was in November of 2010 when she called police to tell them her 70-year-old mother was dead.
Eisley later confessed to beating Cherry Clasen with a baseball bat, slashing her throat and stabbing her in the stomach.
She even went to the store to buy a bigger knife before inviting her mom over to her house. The two lived next-door to each other.
After she killed her mom, Eisley says she washed her hands, smoked a cigarette and then called 911.
