RENO, NV - A few clouds will develop over the valley floor today, with at least a few isolated shower and thunderstorms in the Sierra. As westerly winds pick up just a bit this afternoon, those storms could blow farther east, south of highway 50.

Temperatures stay warm for the next couple days with near record temperatures possible by the end of the weekend. The forecast in Reno for Sunday is 96° with 100° being the current record.
