RENO, NV - Today high temperatures will be well above what is expected for this time of year. Reno should see lower 60°s this afternoon.
The wind will slowly ramp up as we get into the later afternoon. By the overnight hours we could see gusts up to 60mph in the more wind prone areas of western Nevada. Ridgetop gusts are expected to be around 100mph while Reno itself sees wind gusts closer to 45 - 50mph.
Behind all the wind is a lot of cold air. Reno probably wont see highs in the 50°s or better for about a week.
