Former Pack Women's Player Signs with Australian Team

RENO - Former Wolf Pack women's basketball player Kayla Williams is going to play pro ball over in Australia.

The Ballarat Courrier is reporting that Williams will suit up for the Auslec Rush for the rest of the season. The Rush is currently in fourth place in the South East Australian Basketball League with a 4-4 overall record.

Williams averaged 12.9 points and seven rebounds per game her senior season at Nevada. Her 115 career blocked shots are the second most in school history.

Williams will will make her debut against the Lady Spartans on May 19th.

She's a graduate of Reed high school in Sparks.
