Coroner IDs Man Killed in Shooting

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) - Authorities have identified a 27-year-old man who died after a nighttime shooting in front of a North Las Vegas convenience store.
Clark County coroner's officials say Daniel Chavez Garcia died of multiple gunshot wounds following the shooting Wednesday just outside the El Paso Market on East Owens Avenue.
Police say they believe the Las Vegas resident was standing just outside the store when the gunman opened fire and fled on foot. Authorities haven't released any suspect information.
Garcia's death is the seventh homicide in North Las Vegas this year.
