Just because she is in remission doesn't mean that she is cured. The cancer can come back. If it does it is even harder to treat. She went through more then most people every do or have to. She deserves to have something she really wants.
Yes, where can we donate? The dad's a moron. If the little sweetie is counting on it, let her go. She's been through more than a lot of adults at only 4 yrs old. Then, let her go again in a few years. Let her be a kid! Sheesh
People will probably jump all over me but If I were in the same position I would also refuse the offer from the
MakeAWish foundation however I would personally make every effort to fund the trip on my own dime! I agree with his statement that the money should go to a terminally ill child. Although I tend to believe his intentions are a little vindictive towards the mother and grandmother but that's one of the consequences of premarital sex!

Dad sounds like a blue-ribbon jerk, but 4 is very young. It might be better to wait until the cancer is REALLY in remission and maybe wait another couple years, when the little girl is even more cognizant of what the trip is and able to appreciate it even more.
