CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - A Charlotte mall is being evacuated after heavy rain caused the ceiling to collapse and led to flooding.
Officials say no one was hurt when the ceiling collapsed at SouthPark mall as thunderstorms rumbled through portions of North Carolina on Friday afternoon.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the mall, which had some flooding. The Charlotte Fire Department says the mall is being evacuated.
