VENTURA, Calif. (AP) - The son of a Ventura County supervisor has pleaded no contest to felony charges including the illegal manufacture and sale of a human growth hormone used by bodybuilders.
The Ventura County Star says 33-year-old Peter Foy II entered his plea Friday. His lawyer Ron Bamieh says Foy, of Simi Valley, faces up to a year in jail and probation when he is sentenced July 12.
Simi Valley police said officers serving a search warrant seized HGH, liquid steroids, an electric pill press machine and other items.
Foy, who is a personal trainer, is the son of Supervisor Peter Foy.
Foy and a co-defendant, 27-year-old Brandon Adams, were indicted in April.
