If I had gotten into a fight with someone, and then they showed up at my house, I'd assume they weren't there to do "a good thing".
Hey Jason's sister, I call BS. It clearly says they were seen fighting earlier. If chickee had a problem, chickee should have called the cops. If anyone got your brother killed it was chickee. Self defense. Period.
There are not enough facts to say it was self-defense! People are making it sound like the perpetrator is innocent when he is the one who shot and killed someone! Just because he owns a gun in his home does not give him the right to shoot any one he pleases.
Hiw do you know he was doing a good thing. Like you said, don't make assumptions with no facts. There's a lot more to it than you can realize.

that's too bad. If I had a wife and baby in my house and someone showed up threatening my family and myself then hell yeah i'd shoot them. basic survival skills if you ask me.
You have no idea why he was at the house. No one does, it even says so in the article. You can't make that assumption when there are no facts to back it up. Jason was said to be helping Bloem's wife. She could have asked him to go to the residence to get her belongings. Those who weren't there don't know for sure what happened. He was trying to do a good thing and in turn had his life taken from him.

Sounds like self defense to me. You come into my house with the intent to harm you can bet I'm going to exercise my right to bear arms
