RENO, Nev. (AP) - Police say fewer Reno businesses are selling alcohol to minors.
Officers with the Street Enforcement Team say they did an alcohol compliance check Monday at 53 stores in Washoe County. Five of those were cited for selling liquor to underage decoys.
Police say this week's check had a 91 percent compliance rate, which is up from about 78 percent in March.
Authorities remind clerks to always be diligent about checking identification on customers buying alcohol.
