RENO, NV - I'll try to do it with my left hand,” Haley Wood says as she flips a sandwich.

Wood drew the short straw and worked the grill on Tuesday.

Her partner Jessie Watnes takes the orders.

It all works here at Gourmelt, the local food truck that specializes in grilled cheese sandwiches.

And even though it was 91 degrees when we shot this story, it was 120 degrees in the truck.

“We just try to drink as much water as possible and that's all you can do,” says Watnes.

Erika Dinapoli and Nina McIntosh wait for their order in the shade.

They walked about a mile for what they consider a great lunch option.

“Yep we'll head back, hopefully to burn off the calories from grilled cheese,” says McIntosh.

“I'm glad I'm not working in there. It was hot just walking out here wow,” says Dinapoli when told it can get as high as 125 degrees in the truck..

Although not as hot outside, customers still waited patiently in the heat for their order.

David Sirna is the store manager of Umpqua Bank where Gourmelt is parked .

He says he has a food truck come in once a week

It's for his staff, customers and anyone else who wants to come here.

On this day it was for a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches.

While he was surprised at how high the temperatures are in the truck, he had a viable option.

“For our customers; have lunch and do their banking at the same time. That's why we reached out to he food trucks,” says Sirna.

Asked if its air conditioned?

“Absolutely,” said Sirna,, he continued “A cool 74.”.
