Chase Chihuahua/Terrier Mix: Small-Young-Male Chase is one cool little dude. He was recently adopted from the Pups on Parole program, but was returned because his owner runs a daycare and it turns out that Chase is not a big fan of small children. He definitely needs either an adult only family or one where the kids are old enough to give him the respect he deserves. He's shy with strangers at first, but with some one on one time , he's really coming out of his shell. He has bright, sparkly eyes and his tail is always wagging; he just seems to be a happy guy. He is learning basic obedience quickly - he seems to be the kind of dog that would have an easy time doing just about anything - tricks, playing fetch, going on long walks, or just hanging out with his person. Chase is around 1 year old, weighs about 12 pounds, is neutered, current on all shots, microchipped, housetrained, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative. Coal Labrador Retriever/Retriever Mix Large • Young • Male Coal is a beautiful lab mix, about 1 year old and as sweet as can be. He was brought in to the local shelter as a stray and when nobody claimed him he was inducted into the Pups on Parole program. Coal is a typical young lab - friendly, full of energy, has a very happy personality and loves everyone he meets. He gets along very well with the other dogs in the program, and it's obvious he's had some training in his previous home. He is housetrained, current on all shots, heartworm negative and on heartworm preventative, neutered and microchipped. JD Cocker Spaniel: Medium • Adult • Male JD is a beautiful 3 year old Black Cocker Spaniel surrendered to the shelter when his owner move and couldn't take him. He was happy arrive at the California Correctional as one of the newest Pups On Parole dogs. JD is neutered, current on vaccinations, micro chipped, heart worm negative, and on heart worm preventative. He is the classic Cocker always happy, playful, cheerful, gentle, affectionate, and friendly. He would fit into just about any family. Joey Dachshund/Beagle Mix Small • Young • Male Joey is one of those rare dogs that has it all going for him - he's handsome, very quick to learn, friendly with both people and other dogs, and is just the happiest guy ever! He was brought to the local shelter by someone who said they found him, and eventually made his way into the Pups on Parole program. He's around 9 months old, weighs in at 15.5 pounds, and would make a great pet for some lucky family. Schmito Pomeranian/Chihuahua Mix Small • Adult • Male Schmito was surrendered to the shelter when his owner could no longer keep them. He's a nice little fellow who warms up after he gets to know you.
