SILVER SPRINGS, NV - Lyon County sheriff's detectives are investigating a bizarre homicide and missing persons case.

Detectives are looking for Tim Pennington, whose father reported him missing after Pennington talked to detectives Thursday about Amber Jenkins, whose family hasn't seen her for several days.

Detectives were talking him because they found evidence connecting him to a body found Thursday off a dirt road in Silver Springs. The body hasn't been positively identified, and detectives don't know how the woman died. But they are referring to the death as a homicide.

Detectives haven't released photos of either person.
