Reno Police in Standoff at S. Virginia Ave. Hotel

RENO, Nev. -- Police officers are at the Vagabond Inn on S. Viriginia and Gentry in Reno. They are attempting to get a man who is in one of the hotel rooms to come out peacefully.

Police officials have not released details on why they want the person to come out of the room or whether or not the person is armed, but they do say the man is in the shower because he said he is hot. Police are prepared to turn off the water to the room in an attempt to get him to surrender.
