Have you not noticed the crazy attire people wear to these events???? I was in Kansas City Friday night and saw a line wrapped around a block waiting to get into the show. 50% were dressed in costumes that had nothing to do with the theme of the movie!

It is sad that people are crying for gun control... about taking guns away from the citizens. If you do this then only criminals have guns. I agree with Michael, with out the colorful additives ;), one armed patron in the theater would have ended everything.

It would have also saved all the legal costs and endless appeals ( because he was crazy ) he probably wanted to die anyway, I'm sure he didn't think he was going to get away with it !!

If only ... A few patrons had been carrying (concealed) weapons BOOM BOOM you're dead, instead of the massive loss of life .... Wake up people !! Sane people don't shoot people, the insane ones do !!

He bought a ticket, came in with everyone else, then went out the fire exit, blocking the door open as he left. Then he went to his car (parked right outside), geared up, grabbed the guns, then went back in and 'went to work'.

Did the gunman buy a ticket and go in with everyone else or did he enter through a back door? I fhe entered with everyone else, how in the world did he hide two rifles?
