RENO, NV - During the hot summer months, many of us take our air conditioning for granted. Some people don't have any way to keep cool, and can't afford new fans.

That's why KOLO 8 News Now is a proud sponsor of the Fan Drive, in cooperation with the Washoe County Senior Services Department. We are collecting new, unused fans which will be handed out to seniors in our community.

If you or someone you know is interested in receiving a fan, you can contact the Washoe County Senior Services Center at 775-328-2575. KOLO 8 News Now does not distribute the fans. You can donate during regular business hours at KOLO 8 News Now, 4850 Ampere Drive, Reno, NV 89502 or the Washoe County Senior Services Center, 1155 E. Ninth Street, Reno, NV 89512.
