HUMBOLDT COUNTY, NV - Humboldt County sheriff detectives are looking for the people who have been operating a large marijuana grow.
Two people riding ATVs apparently stumbled upon the operation in the north end of the state this week, according to the sheriff's office.
The operation had been broken up into three separate gardens, north of Valmy and south of the Humboldt River. There is also an elaborate pumping and piping system.
Deputies found personal belongings, which indicated the recent presence of several people.
The number of plants totaled almost 13,000, with a street value of between $1.5 and $1.9 million.
Sheriff Kilgore would like anyone who may have information concerning this grow, and the suspects responsible for it, to please contact the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office at (775) 623-6419 or Secret Witness at (775) 623-6969.
